Norwest Respiratory and Sleep Disorders
Is a dedicated multispecialist practice prides itself in patient centred care with focus on improving the health outcomes of our patients. We provide a comprehensive consultation and diagnostic services to our patients in all aspects of Respiratory and sleep related conditions.
We have a brand new Lung function lab and in house sleep services providing Home sleep studies and CPAP titrations. We perform Diagnostic bronchoscopy and EBUS procedures at Norwest endoscopy and Nepean Hospital.
Our Specialists have admitting rights at the Norwest Private Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital and Hospital for Specialist surgery (HSS) at BellaVista.
Our Specialists actively participate at the lung cancer multidisciplinary meeting at the Norwest private Hospital and Interstitial lung disease multidisciplinary meeting at the Liverpool Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital and Nepean Hospital.
We also have Specialist Endocrinology and Pain specialist consultants working in our practice on a sessional basis to help with providing an integrated care to our patients and wider community.

Dr. Stephen Parsons
Dr.Stephen Parsons is a senior Respiratory and Sleep Physician with Staff Specialist position at the Liverpool Hospital. He is a VMO at the Norwest Private hospital and Macquarie University Hospital. He has been in private practice around the Hills area for many years .
His Practice covers a wide range of Respiratory and Sleep conditions and has a special interest in Pulmonary Hypertension management.
Dr. M. Ali Tahir
Dr M. Ali Tahir is a Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician currently working as a Staff Specialist at Nepean and Blue Mountains Hospitals.
Dr. Ali completed his specialist training in Respiratory Medicine at Liverpool and Westmead Hospitals and Sleep Medicine training at New castle John Hunter Hospital.In addition to general respiratory issues, his other areas of interest includes sleep medicine, airways disease and pulmonary hypertension. Dr. Ali has a strong commitment to teaching and prides himself in a holistic approach to patient care and speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu languages fluently. His private clinic is in Bella Vista and Parramatta.
Dr. Subash Srikantha
Dr. Subash Srikantha is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician with private consulting rooms at Bellavista and The Woolcock clinic in Glebe. He also works as a VMO at the Norwest private Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and underwent specialist training in Respiratory and Sleep medicine at Liverpool Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital.
His practice covers a wide range of respiratory and sleep conditions including Asthma, COPD, lung infections, lung cancer and sleep disorders ( Sleep apnoea, Insomnia , Narcolepsy and Parasomnias). He has been involved in the teaching of , medical students and GP colleagues.
